About Me

My photo
The Crafty Mugwump
I am a perpetual student dabbling and experimenting in many art forms. Since retirement I have gained an A level in textiles, studied for a year for my Foundation Art & Design, gained a City & Guilds Qualification with the wonderful Kemshall ladies in Creative Sketchbooks and attended many inspiring courses and summer schools. My main influences have been Ruth Issett, Bobby Britnell and Dionne Swift. I am a member of Peterborough Embroiderers Guild and a member of Calico a stitching group led by the amazing Biddy Bruce. I was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in October 2013.
